Description

Source Automotive '07.5 & newer Dodge Cummins 6.7L Twin Turbo Kit

Factory VGT over the Schwitzer 400 2/3rd kits from $3700

It's ready. It fits. It works. It rocks! One of the best features of the 6.7L engine is the factory exhaust brake. Seems to me most folks don't want to give up this feature. Neither do we. We built our kit around our in house modified, 2nd gen 3 piece center outlet exhaust manifold. Combine the factory VGT turbo with our full framed Schwitzer 400 & we feel we've achieved the best of both worlds. Quick spool up with near instant throttle response, when our twin turbo set up is combined with the Smarty 6.7 tuner . We ran this kit ourselves with great success. We then shipped a kit out to a reputable shop for unbiased independent testing. The test truck combined the Smarty 6.7 downloader with a TS pressure box. Don M. supplied the 100 hp nozzles. We are after "useable" horsepower. Power you could really use. Empty or pulling heavy loads. We feel we've got you covered. 646 rwhp, 1612 ft lbs of torque , 63 lbs of boost at a peak of 1200 degrees. Yes, you read that right. 640 +, 1600 + with a peak of 1200 degrees on a dyno jet. While we had high expectations, we couldn't be happier with our results. We intend to also make you happy with yours. Don't need the brake ? 640 & 1600 are not enough ? We've got a Schwitzer 300 over a Schwitzer 400 kit available also. We're presently running a 64/71/14 over the Schwitzer 480 on our 2008 test truck. Smarty programming , 200 hp nozzles, FASS fuel supply with dual injection pumps. Clearly lots of potential here, but we may need to come up with a 6 speed truck to determine what this set up is good for, power wise. Our 68RFE clearly isn't up to the task. Tony are you listening? This is a decent sized twin setup. Considered laggy by some on a 5.9. Not so on this big 6.7. Remarkable spool up, superb drivability. All this fuel has something to do with it, but the fun factor comes from MADS Electronics via the Smarty S67 . This thing's the shiznit, cats meow, our tuner of choice. Thank you Marco!
